As of February 11, 2025, the City of San Antonio has announced plans to enhance the roads on N. New Braunfels Avenue and Nacogdoches Road as part of a comprehensive program, the “Bond Program,” scheduled from 2022 to 2027. These improvements, which include enhanced sidewalks, curbs, and driveways, may result in increased traffic and delays during school drop-off times from 2/13 to 2/27. It is important to note that, in addition to the streets under construction, Eisenhauer Road and the segment between N. New Braunfels Avenue and N. Vandiver Road are scheduled for reconstruction. Additionally, N. Gevers Street has been selected for the Fiscal Year 2024 Sidewalk Reconstruction Program.
