The AH-mazing tennis team has had a phenomenal season this year. The team is mostly undefeated, even without the head coach, who was pregnant during the season. The team’s dominance is undisputed. They’ve proven themselves to be the undeniable kings and queens of the court.

Seely, a member of the seventh-grade tennis team, said, “We played our best and we all did really well, even though we lost.” Win or lose, Seely is certain that all the tennis team’s matches were played to the best of each person’s ability, which only made them better.

Krishna, another member of the tennis team, says, “We played each other in matches because we are each other’s biggest competition.” The tennis team’s rigorous practice routines and determination helped them win their regular and district matches, proving just how dominant the Alamo Heights tennis team really is.

Blake, an 8th-grade tennis team member, says, “The coaches really helped us learn different techniques and how to get better, and then the players with all the plays we get with each other.” As the team progressed through the season, both the coaches and fellow members helped push each other to do their best.

Our AJHS tennis team members have shown their true abilities this season. The team is full of remarkable players full of potential, and the Junior School looks forward to their future victories next season!
