Final exams are soon, so get studying! Final exams start on May 12th with an adjusted schedule. These exams recap all you’ve done throughout the year, testing your knowledge and growth in each subject. “They’re a great way for teachers to know how much students have learned,” said AHJS Vice Principal Mr. Saldana.
Students will have final exams in every class, including electives, which makes it even more important to stay organized and focused. “These exams are supposed to be difficult; students will need to be prepared,” said Mr. Saldana. To succeed, it’s essential to review key concepts, practice problems, and take time to go over notes. It’s a chance to show what you’ve mastered and also identify areas you might need to focus on before the big day.
Teachers are providing study guides and review sessions to help students get ready. They’re offering extra time and support to make sure no one feels unprepared. “Take advantage of studying,” Mr. Saldana advises. “It’s all about doing your best and showing what you’ve learned throughout the entire year.”
While finals can be stressful, they also provide an opportunity to celebrate how far you’ve come and how much you’ve accomplished throughout the school year. After all the hard work, the sense of accomplishment once the exams are over will make it all worth it!
