[Intro] This is Mule Tube Ears Edition, your daily dose of Alamo Heights Junior School news, updates, and need-to-knows. From the first bell to the last class, Mule Tube Ears Edition has you covered from ear to ear.

Toren: Hey Mules, I’m Toren!

Quinn: And I’m Quinn. Welcome back to another exciting episode of Ears Edition! We’ve got news, riddles, weather, and more, so let’s dive right in!

Toren: And you know what time it is?

Both: It’s time for the riddle of the week!

Quinn: This week’s brain teaser is “What has a head and a tail, but no body?”

Toren: Think you know the answer? Stick around till the end to find out!

Quinn: First up, cross country is starting soon.

Toren: It starts on the 18th [of October]

Quinn: The weather is doing it’s thing, expect highs around 93°F, and lows around 67°F.

Toren: And pack a little patience with that breeze, it’ll be drifting in between 10 to 8 mph!

Quinn: Let’s talk sports. This Wednesday, our football team faces off against Ed White Middle School.

Toren: And eighth grade plays at home turf while seventh grade hits the road. Let’s bring that Mules spirit!

Quinn: Then on Thursday, it’s volleyball’s time to shine, also against Ed White.

Toren: Eighth grade travels, and seventh grade defends at home court. GO MULES GO!

Quinn: Here’s something that will make your tail wag: Friday, October 24th is our “Every Dog and Cat Has Its Day” event.

Toren: Bring your furry friends during drop-off or pick up. Our Mule Time Media crew will be stationed at both the North New Braunfels and Nacagdoches Road entrances to snap some adorable pics!

Quinn: Those snapshots will be featured on a special presentation. Plus, we will spotlight pets up for adoption from the Alamo Heights Animal Shelter.

Toren: And here’s the best part: anyone who adopts a pet that week will receive a welcome box from the junior school.

Quinn: What an amazing way to bring the whole campus community together. Students, family, and pets alike.
