Most kids don’t realize how much time our theatre program puts into making the best productions. From making the scripts to acting on the stage, our live theatre makes sure your experience will be top-tier. This attention to quality shows in even the little details such as making bespoke costumes and controlling the lights and music. Everything matters when it comes to making our plays. With all this incredible effort going into every production, if you haven’t experienced one yet, here is why you should.

Our theatre productions are directed by two amazing people, Mr. Gabelmann and Mrs. Bynum. They are both experienced and talented directors who have been teaching theatre for years. “I mostly write my own plays, and the plays I direct, so what draws me to them is that they were written by a genius,” Gabelmann says proudly. This combination of experienced teachers demonstrates leadership, creativity, and dedication to making their students skilled in theatre.

Another reason why you should experience our theatre is the whole process of making the play. Not only do our directors write and develop all of our plays, but they also make sure all of the cast can connect with their character. “I make sure they know their character’s motivation, and what their character wants.” Making sure the cast connects to their character makes it much smoother on stage.

Beyond the thrilling performances, the final reason you should experience our theatre is the community. You get to watch a breathtaking production made by some amazing students and you can bring your friends, family, or anyone with you to enjoy the show. “Since I write my shows I also write the jokes, so when an audience laughs, it means a lot to me.”

The shows will have awesome jokes and unexpected plot twists to make sure everyone in the audience has a good time.
