Home Access Center (HAC) provides students and families with the ability to access grades, attendance, and class registration online, ensuring that everyone can track academic progress from anywhere.
HAC is not just useful for tracking grades; it also plays a key role in course selection for the upcoming school year. “You can see what your teachers have recommended for next year and pick the classes you’d like to take,” said Mayra Urias, a school staff member.
In addition to academic monitoring, HAC has been a staple at Alamo Heights schools for many years. “I’ve been here for eight years, and HAC was already in use when I arrived,” Ms. Urias shared. The tool has evolved over time to meet the needs of students and families, offering easy access to essential information like grades and class options. It has undoubtedly helped streamline communication between students, families, and educators.
To log in, students need to go to the student section, enter their email address, and then their password. Ms. Urias encourages anyone who has trouble logging in to reach out for help. “If you’re having trouble logging in, you can email me or come to the office, and I can set up a one-time password for you,” she explained.
Occasionally, students or parents forget their passwords, but Ms. Urias is always ready to assist. “If you need a password reset, or if you have a sibling at another school that needs to be linked to your parent’s HAC account, I can help with that,” she added.
Some might have trouble locating HAC, but it’s available on the district’s website and is also listed in Google Classroom. Ms. Urias recommends these resources if you ever need help finding the platform.
